Ruth uses a paintbrush to build houses, instead of a “bond” (A bowl carried on the heads of roughly 6 million Indian women who do unskilled manual labor on construction sites. Read more.)
Ruth was not born in India, but she is helping to house widows and the marginalized through her creative work with her brush. She painted these beautiful works, and suggested we use them as cards to thank our supporters. Just another example of a creative way our generous community support the work of bringing homes to the hopeless – without picking up a trowel, or even signing a check.
If you think you aren’t talented enough to paint like Ruth… you never know, you might have hidden talents! Try one of her “Art Spa Days” and let your inner child play!
