Learn MoreA couple of times each year, groups of volunteers come to South India to help build houses in the villages - for widows, the old and the physically handicapped. We invite you to come and join us - bring your friends, family, team, or come by yourself. It's not an experience anyone ever forgets.

Learn MoreWork! You'll dig foundations, paint walls, meet loads of people, eat curry, laugh with children, put up walls, bring smiles to people and find smiles in return, learn about others, and yourself - and sweat :)
We work a six-day week in India. As a volunteer housebuilder you'll usually leave for the villages around 8:30am and be back for a much deserved swim in the Bay of Bengal between 3 and 4pm. Once you're here, you can expect to spend roughly US$200 a week for accommodation, food and local transport. Volunteer opportunities vary, so get hold of us for possible dates. Normally you could come for between 1 and 3 weeks.
And if you've built houses with us before, please consider sharing your experiences with others - send us your story and a photo and we'll feature it on our site and/or facebook page.
Here are some of the ways team members like you are creatively supporting our work in India. Get inspired ;) Tell us yours! And contact us if you'd like some more ideas of how you, friends & family can be involved without necessarily making the journey out to India - we've got tons!
